Knitting the Sweater Front:
- Work as for back until armholes measure 6 (6.5, 7, 7.5) inches, ending with a wrong side row.
- Work 13 (15, 15, 17) then put these on holder, bind off 12, work 13 (15, 15, 17) to end. Turn and work on left front first.
- Decrease 1 stitch at beginning of next 3 right side rows, then continue in pattern until armhole measures 9 (9.5, 10, 10.5) inches, ending with a wrong side row. Put stitches on a holder.
- Rejoin yarn at left neck edge of front, and begin with a wrong side row. Decrease 1 stitch at neck edge on every right side row 3 times, then continue in pattern until armhole measures 9 (9.5, 10, 10.5) inches, ending with a wrong side row.
- Put stitches on a holder.
Knitting the Sleeves:
- Cast on 22 (26, 26, 26) stitches and work for 3 inches in 2x2 rib, ending with a wrong side row.
- Increase row: increase 1 at each end -- 24 (28, 28, 28) stitches.
- Incorporating new stitches into the Textured Stitch Pattern, increase at each end on every 4th row 5 (4, 5, 5) times, then every 6th row 4 (4, 4, 5) times. There are 42 (44, 46, 48) stitches.
- Continue until sleeve measures 20 (20.5, 22, 22.5) inches. Bind off all stitches. Make two sleeves.
