Definition:
Panel of 12 stitches.
Rows 1, 3, 5 and 7: (wrong side) Knit 2, purl 8, knit 2.
Row 2: Purl 2, slip 2 stitches onto cable needle and hold in back, knit next 2, then 2 from cable needle, slip 2 stitches onto cable needle and hold in front, knit next 2, then 2 from cable needle, purl 2.
Rows 4, 6 and 8: Purl 2, knit 8, purl 2.
Repeat these rows for pattern.
