Diagonal Seed Stitch
Diagonal Seed Stitch is a really fun knitting stitch that makes diagonal lines of purls across a background of Stockinette. It's easy to knit and adds interest to otherwise basic knitting.

Double Broken Rib is a fun variation of Broken Rib that has ribs of knit stitches broken up by rows of two stitches of alternating knits and purls.
Double Cable or Horseshoe Cable is an easy cable pattern that can be varied in a multitude of ways. Work it over more stitches or make the cross more or less frequently to change the look.
Double Moss Stitch
Double moss stitch, sometimes also called double seed stitch, is a knitting stitch pattern very similar to the box stitch that looks like alternating rows of double ribbing.
Double rib is a little more interesting than single rib. It can be used as a stitch pattern throughout a project, or just to make the cuffs or hem of a sweater.
Double Woven Stitch
Similar to Woven Stitch, Double Woven Stitch involves slipping two stitches with the yarn in front on a knit row to make a texture that basically underlines the slipped stitches.
Drop stitch or dropped stitch is more of a method than an actual pattern. It involves making elongated stitches that give your work an airy, stretchy quality.
Eiffel Tower Eyelet
Eiffel Tower Eyelet is a fun and easy knitting stitch pattern using a purl background and a series of knit stitches positioned above an eyelet that look a bit like the famous tower in Paris.
Elongated Chevron looks like a complex pattern, but it's really just four different rows knit in different order to make deep Vs on the knit fabric. This wonderful chunky stitch would be ideal for an afghan.
Embossed Moss Stitch Ribbing
For a decorative but not very stretchy ribbing, try Embossed Moss Stitch Ribbing. This pattern uses a background of purl stitches with columns of Moss Stitch between knit stitches to make a bold textured fabric.
Eyelet Check is a striking but relatively easy knitting stitch pattern that involves a background of Stockinette Stitch covered with checked patches of purl that have eyelets centered in them. Eyelet check would be a cute choice for an afghan if you don't mind it having a front and back.
Farrow rib is a fun, easy knitting stitch pattern that makes a manly looking ribbing perfect for a scarf.

Feather and Fan is a classic knitting stitch pattern that makes a scalloped edge and rows of lacy fans.
Feather faggoting is an easy lace knitting pattern that makes a nice open fabric after blocking.
Feather pattern is a really easy lace pattern that's great for borders or even all allover pattern. Its paired decreases produce an interesting pattern even without the eyelets.
Fir Cone is a delightful knitting stitch that involves double decreases that make an interesting texture on the fabric as well as a rippled edge similar to what you get with Feather and Fan.
Fish Scale Lace
Fish Scale Lace is a relatively easy, Stockinette Stitch based lace pattern that makes arcs of Stockinette Stitch that look a bit like fish tails, along with eyelets that look a bit like scales.
Fleck Stitch is a really easy knitting stitch that is similar to Broken Rib, involving a row of ribbing on a field of Stockinette Stitch.
Flemish Block Lace
Flemish Block Lace is a lovely knitting stitch that is not actually the difficult to accomplish, though it does require your attention as you knit. It would make a beautiful shawl or wrap, or use anywhere else you'd use lace knitting.
Flower Eyelet is a classic eyelet knitting pattern that looks like daisies on the fabric. It's really easy to knit and makes nice large eyelet holes thanks to the double yarn overs.
