Fold the 2 Fronts across the Back with the wrong side facing out. Place live stitches back on needles.
Work 3-needle bind off across tops of shoulders to join the seams.
Turn work right side out. Sew sleeves into armholes.
Sew sleeve seams.

Button Bands (Girls):

Right:

With right side facing, pick up and knit 108 (116, 116, 124, 132, 140) stitches up the Right Front edge, beginning at the leg cast on and ending at the neck edge.
Work in 2x2 rib for half an inch, ending with a wrong side row.
Buttonholes: Rib 4, yo, K/P2tog (depending on part of rib), rib 11 (12, 12, 13, 14, 15), yo, K/P2tog, rib 11 (12, 12, 13, 14, 15), yo, K/P2tog, rib 11 (12, 12, 13, 14, 15), yo, K/P2tog, rib to end. You have made 4 buttonholes.

Left:

With right side facing, pick up and knit 108 (116, 116, 124, 132, 140) stitches down the Left Front edge, beginning at the neck edge and ending at the leg cast on.
Work in 2x2 rib for half an inch, ending with a wrong side row.
Buttonholes: *Rib 11 (12, 12, 13, 14, 15), yo, K/P2tog (depending on part of rib). Repeat from * until there are 4 stitches left, rib 4. You have made 8 buttonholes.
Continue in 2x2 rib until band measures 1 inch.
Bind off all stitches in rib.

Inside Leg:

With right side facing, pick up and knit 96 (104, 108, 112, 116, 120) stitches up the Right Front edge, beginning at the leg cast on, going across the leg join, and going down the Left Front to the leg cast on.
Work in 2x2 rib for 1 inch, ending with a wrong side row.
Bind off all stitches in rib.

Neckline:

With right side facing, pick up and knit 72 (76, 76, 80, 84, 88) stitches for neckband across Right Front button band, Right Front, Back, Left Front, and Left Front button band.
