Cable Cast On

Slipping the Stitch

The second stitch on the left-hand needle.
The second stitch is slipped onto the left-hand needle.

Now the loop that is on the right-hand needle needs to be moved to the left-hand needle. To do that, slip the left hand needle into the loop from the front.

Then just slide the right-hand needle out of the stitch. You now have two stitches on the left-hand needle.

  2. Making the Next Stitch
  3. Slipping the Stitch
  4. Start the Third Stitch
  5. Continuing the Stitch
  6. Finishing the Stitch
  7. Completing the Cast On
