If you're a knitting-in-the-round novice, now is your chance to get some practice! This little sundress knits up quick in medium weight yarn, and is all in one piece with no sewing involved!
Materials:
- 6 (7, 8, 9) skeins of medium weight yarn of your choice, such as Reynolds Santana, or about 612 (714, 816, 918) yards
- 24 inch size 8 US (5 mm) circular needle
- 16 inch size 8 US (5 mm) circular needle
- stitch marker, scissors, tape measure and yarn needle
- row counter
- 4 stitch holders
Gauge:
4 stitches and 6 rows per inch in Stockinette Stitch
Size:
to fit a 2-year-old (4-year-old, 6-year-old, 8-year-old). Instructions are given in smallest size first with instructions for larger sizes below or in parentheses.
Chest size finished garment: 22 (24, 26, 28) inches
Length from back neck: 20.5 (23.5, 26.5, 29.5) inches (see schematic for more measurements)
