If you follow me on Facebook (and if you don't, why the heck not?) you might have seen late last week a sad iPad photo of some really fun yarn: Lion Brand Zpagetti. This yarn is made from the remnants of garment manufacturing (I'm calling it T-shirt yarn, because that's most what it acts like, but no one actually wears T-shirts that are 8 percent elastane, do they?) and because of that, you never really know what color or pattern you're going to get when you order this yarn from Lion Brand.
Of course, I'm used to not knowing what I'm going to get because I often get samples from companies without knowing what color they will be or even what they're sending, which was the case here. A box from Lion Brand always makes my day, though, and in uncharacteristic style I dropped everything to spend the weekend playing with this yarn.
I swatched, pondered and declared my swatch a washcloth. I knit a bowl/basket type thing, too, but you'll have to wait til tomorrow for that one. And I've still got some leftovers. I'm thinking jewelry. Stay tuned.
