Here at About.com Knitting there are lots of great cable knitting patterns for you to try, whether you're new to the craft or looking for something a little more complex. Here are some of my favorites.
- The Cabled Headband is a super-simple project that will keep your hair back and your ears warm in cool weather. I use mine all the time during the winter.
- This little Cabled Pillow offers good practice for a slightly more complicated cable and is perfect to sit on the chair you knit in or just to use as decor (mine is actually on a bookshelf).
- The Staghorn Cable Wrap is a quick and easy project that will keep you or someone you care about warm no matter how cold it gets. It's a great use of bulky yarn.
- Eileen Casey did a series of Aran patterns for babies including a vest, booties and body suit. These are great options for a special baby in your life!
