New (and Improved) Knitting Websites
Sunday September 13, 2009
The online knitting world is full of great resources for information, inspiration and connecting to other knitters. A couple of big-name websites have recently revamped or launched new sites to help knitters learn more about their craft and enjoy the fiber arts.
Vogue Knitting has revamped its website to include a rotating "flash box" that includes top stories and trends, as well as an improved store including more than 1,000 patterns, books and back issues of the magazine. There's also an interactive pattern help desk and the cool VK360, which allows you to look at all the projects from the latest issue of the magazine from every angle.
And Knitting Daily, the Interweave site devoted to all things knit and crochet, is now hosting a Knitting Daily TV blog featuring guest bloggers who have appeared on the weekly television show. So far the blog has covered topics like working with color, Portuguese knitting and free patterns and resources.
