Sandy Stitches

Sand Stitch PatternSand Stitch. (c) Sarah E. White.
Sand Stitch is the perfect stitch for people who like the look of purls but who don't want to actually have to do a lot of purling.

The stitch pattern is actually the wrong side of another stitch pattern called Dot Stitch. Both are good looking patterns, but Sand Stitch shows lots of prominent purls without having to actually purl a lot of stitches.

This stitch would be great for a sweater, but since both sides look good, though not at all the same, it would also make an interesting scarf or block in an afghan.

You need to fix the instructions– so that there is not printing over top of printing, making it hard to know what it says.

I agree. I thought , perhaps, it was just my computer or my lack of computer knowledge…but I get printing on top of printing around the pictures most times.
