Divide For Armholes:
- Knit 1 more round, stopping 2 (3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9) stitches before the marker.
- BO 4 (6, 8, 10, 14, 16, 18) stitches -- that is, 2 (3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9) before the marker and 2 (3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9) after it.
- Put the single remaining stitch on the right hand needle unto a spare needle and then knit another 57 (59, 67, 73, 77, 85, 89) stitches onto it. These are the stitches for the front -- leave them on the spare needle, the back is worked first back and forth on the other stitches.
- BO 4 (6, 8, 10, 14, 16, 18) stitches, then knit the remaining stitches across the back to the bound off edge.
- Turn and purl 1 row. Use a row counter to count your rows so that the back and front will be the same length.
- Decrease as follows on next and following 2 (2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8) RS rows: K1, ssk, K to last 3 stitches, k2tog, K1.
- Purl all wrong side rows.
- When there are 52 (54, 60, 64, 66, 70, 70) stitches, continue in Stockinette Stitch without further shaping until armhole measures 6 (6.5, 7, 7.5, 8, 8.5, 9) inches, ending with a wrong side row.
- K13 (14, 17, 19, 20, 22, 22), BO 26, K13 (14, 17, 19, 20, 22, 22).
- Turn and work on these stitches first to form the left back.
- BO 4 (4, 5, 6, 6, 7, 7), P to last 3 stitches, purl 2 together through back loop, P1. 8 (9, 11, 12, 13, 14, 14) stitches.
- Next row: Knit.
- Next row: BO 4 (4, 5, 6, 6, 7, 7), P to end. 4 (5, 6, 6, 7, 7, 7) stitches.
- Next row: BO all stitches.
- Rejoin yarn to right back at shoulder edge with right side facing.
- BO 4 (4, 5, 6, 6, 7, 7), K to last 3 stitches, k2tog, K1. 8 (9, 11, 12, 13, 14, 14) sts.
- Next row: Purl.
- Next row: BO 4 (4, 5, 6, 6, 7, 7), K to end. 4 (5, 6, 6, 7, 7, 7) stitches.
- Next row: BO all stitches.
