Place the back and front together, with wrong sides facing out. Match the 10 (12, 12, 14) stitches at shoulders on the front with the corresponding stitches on the back, and join using the 3 needle bind off.
Fold sleeves in half lengthwise and pin into place, with center of sleeve at shoulder seam. Sew the side and sleeve seams.
Neck: With a crochet hook and the circular needle, pick up and knit 9 stitches down left front of neck, pick up and knit the 12 stitches bound off at front neck, pick up and knit 9 stitches up right front of neck, knit the 18 stitches on holder from the back. There are 48 stitches.
Place marker and join the round. Work in 2x2 ribbing for 2 inches. Bind off in rib.
Weave in ends and block sweater to schematic measurements.
