Turkish Stitch

Turkish Stitch.

Definition:

Works on an even number of stitches.

Row one: Knit one, *yarn over, knit two together. Repeat from * across, ending with a knit one.

Repeat this row for pattern.

The thicker the yarn used when knitting Turkish Stitch, the more textured the spaces between the holes are going to be. Light blocking will make the holes more prominent.

Also Known As: Faggoting lace.
