Row 1 (right side): Knit.
Row 2: Knit 1, *(purl 1, yarn over, purl 1, yarn over, purl 1) all in the next stitch (making 5 stitches where there was one), knit 1. Repeat from * across.
Row 3: Purl.
Row 4: Knit 1, *slip 2 with yarn in front, purl 3 together, pass slipped stitches over, knit 1. Repeat from * across, end knit 1.
Row 5: Knit.
Row 6: Knit 2, (purl 1, yarn over, purl 1, yarn over, purl 1) all in the next stitch (making 5 stitches where there was one), knit 1. Repeat from * across, end knit 1.
Row 7: Purl.
Row 8: Knit 2, *slip 2 with yarn in front, purl 3 together, pass slipped stitches over, knit 1. Repeat from * across, end knit 1.
