Row 1: *Knit 2, purl 2. Repeat from * across, ending knit 2.

Row 2: *Purl 2, knit 2. Repeat from * across, ending purl 2.

Row 3: Repeat row 2.

Row 4: Repeat row 1.

Repeat these four rows for pattern.
