Definition:

Works on multiples of 4 plus 2 stitches.

Row 1: Knit 1, *slip, slip, knit, lift the thread between the stitch you just worked and the next stitch, then knit into the back of that thread (in other words, make one), purl 2. Repeat from * across, ending knit 1.
