1. Continue in Stockinette Stitch until piece measures 16 inches from top of hood.
2. *K6, K2tog. Repeat from * around. 35 stitches.
3. Knit the next round.
4. *K5, K2tog. Repeat from * around. 30 stitches.
5. Knit.
6. *K4, K2tog. Repeat from * around. 25 stitches.
7. Knit.
8. *K3, K2tog. Repeat from * around. 20 stitches.
9. Knit.
10. *K2, K2tog. Repeat from * around. 15 stitches.
11. Knit.
12. *K1, K2tog. Repeat from * around. 10 stitches.
13. Knit.
14. K2tog around. 5 stitches.
15. Continue in Stockinette Stitch for about 6 inches -- this is a 5-stitch I-cord.
16. Bind off all stitches.

Finishing:

Weave in ends, tie knot in I-cord. Stick a baby in it, you're done!
