Definition:

Works on multiples of 4 stitches in 2 colors.

Rows 1, 2, 5, and 6: Knit with color A.

Rows 3 and 7: With color B, knit 1, *slip 2 with yarn in back, knit 2. Repeat from * across, ending slip 2, knit 1.

Rows 4 and 8: With B, purl 1, *slip 2 with yarn in front, purl 2. Repeat from * across, ending slip 2, purl 1.

Rows 9, 10, 13, and 14: Knit with B.

Rows 11 and 15:[/b} With A, knit 1, *slip 2 with yarn in back, knit 2. Repeat from * across, ending slip 2, knit 1.

Rows 12 and 16: With a, purl 1, *slip 2 with yarn in front, purl 2. Repeat from * across, ending slip 2, purl 1.

Repeat these rows for pattern.

Note: odd numbered rows are wrong side rows.
