Guide Review - Burt's Bees Hand Salve

I first encountered Burt's Bees Hand Salve when I bought a little kit that included small quantities of several Burt's Bees products. Back then I was gardening a lot, so I was enchanted by the hand salve, which bills itself as being a farmer's friend.

This is not your typical hand lotion. If you turn the tin upside down it won't spill. It's sort of the consistency of petroleum jelly but it goes on in a much thiner layer.

The smell is slightly strong, but I don't mind because the smell tells me I'm doing something good for my hands (it's almost like using a lotion with menthol; the smell isn't great, but you know the result will be). And almost immediately after putting this on, my hands feel better, whether I've been weeding in the garden or working on a marathon knitting session.

Burt's Bees Hand Salve smooths out dry patches of skin and makes the knitting much easier. It's the perfect addition to your knitting bag in the cold winter months.
