The race for Best Knitting Book of 2010 wasn't really much of a contest: New England Knits by Cecily Glowick MacDonald and Melissa LaBarre won with a whopping 59 percent of the vote -- the biggest percentage of votes going to one product in the whole awards program.
New England Knits is a lovely and inspiring book for those who live in New England, those who love the area, and those who just love pretty knitting. A lot of these pieces are great for the changing seasons, or for the cool summer nights that are so common in that part of the country.
