Now that the votes are coming in for the Readers' Choice Awards, I thought I'd take an opportunity this week to highlight each of the categories as a gentle reminder to you to vote.
Remember that you can vote in each category daily from now through March 19, so there's plenty of time to help your favorites get to the top. (A valid e-mail address or Facebook login is required. I'd love it, too, if you shared on Facebook that you voted to help spread the word!)
First up is the favorite knitting blog category. This is always a fun one for me because I never know which blogs in the vast world of knitting blogs are going to be selected as finalists.
The Yarn Harlot, I suppose, is a given, and I'm a big fan of Franklin Habit's The Panopticon, so I was happy to see that one make the cut. The others this year are ones I'm less familiar with but glad I had a chance to check out thanks to your selections.
There's the giant knitting message board Knitting Paradise, the fun blog of designer and author Wendy D. Johnson, and Singlehanded Knits, a blog/vlog that was new to me but that I'm happy to have been introduced to. I hope you'll check out any of these that are new to you, too, and vote for your favorite often! Want to do any lobbying for your favorite? Please do so in the comments section below.
