This little bunny was inspired by the ubiquitous marshmallow candy that is so often seen in the spring: the Peep. Mine is not a completely faithful rendering, but it is pastel colored, wooly and cute.
My sweet little bunny in a basket of eggs. © Sarah E. White.It also happens to be really easy and quick to knit. The only fiddly part at all is sewing up the ears, which are super curly and don't want to sit still to be sewn.
But I think the results are well worth it and that this little bunny would be a beautiful addition to any little kid's Easter basket. Or grown-up sugar-addict's Easter basket, for that matter.
