I know it's been sitting at the top of the page for a couple of weeks now, but it's easy to overlook things when you see them every day, so I just wanted to remind you if you've been putting off making your nominations for the 2013 About.com Knitting Readers' Choice Awards that it is just about your last chance to do so.
Nominations close at midnight on Monday, Feb. 11, so let me know your favorites in our five categories:
- Favorite knitting-related blog
- Favorite knitwear designer
- Favorite book of 2012
- Favorite yarn brand
- Favorite needle brand
Remember, too, that you can nominate up to three in each category and you don't have to offer nominations for all the categories if you don't want to.
When the nominations close I'll be doing some high-level math and analysis to determine five finalists in each category. The voting phase for the finalists will begin on Feb. 19 and run through March 19, with the winners being announced March 27. Again, there are no real prizes here other than bragging rights, but it's lots of fun for me to learn what your favorite things are and to share that information with the world.
