For some reason it just recently occurred to me that Valentine's Day is less than a month away! I guess I'm still thinking that it's the beginning of the year, even though we're almost done with the first month already. Time flies and all that!
Anyway, if you're thinking about knitting something special for someone special, the good news is you've still got time. And most of my specifically Valentine's knitting projects are really quick and easy. Whip up a knit heart (or a bunch, the bulky one only takes a couple of hours to knit and sew up) or a scarf covered with hugs and kisses.
Of course you can also knit something that will warm a person inside and out but not necessarily look like a Valentine's Day gift. Might I recommend a warm scarf, a pair of fingerless gloves or a super-simple and useful coffee cozy? Your Valentine will be sure to thank you. (And you don't have to thank me.)
