I know when I set up the Readers' Choice Awards that some (OK, maybe all) of the categories force you to make tough choices. That's why you're allowed nominate three people/companies/things in each category, so if you're having as much trouble deciding as I do, you don't really have to pick a favorite favorite.
That said, the category for favorite yarn company may be the most difficult of them all, just because there's so much yarn to choose from and so many different kinds of yarn. The company that makes your favorite sock yarn might not be the same one you'd pick to knit a sweater or a cozy hat.
I'm expecting -- or at least hoping -- that I'll get a really wide range of responses, from the big-name, big-box companies to indie spinners and dyers. All of it makes the knitting landscape unique and wonderful (and maybe next year I'll break it into two categories: the big boys and the indies. We'll see.).
