I read a lot of knitting books every year, but even I can't read them all (and I have an amazingly huge backlog right now that I'm hoping to clear up some next month!). So I love getting to ask you about your favorite books of the previous year because there's inevitably something that I've missed, or that's sitting in my "to read" pile but needs to be getting read instead.

Even among the things I have read from last year, there are a lot of great choices, like The Principles of Knitting, The Knitter's Handy Book of Top-Down Sweaters and Cast On, Bind Off just to name a few.
As usual you can share up to three favorites and the top picks will be in the running for the Readers' Choice Award. I can't wait to see what you all nominate!
