I love books that put a creative spin on things we think we already know. Sure, you can make a cable, for example, but how about a reversible cable in two colors? (Thanks, Lily Chin!)
Maybe you already know how to knit in the round, work a toe-up sock and start a shawl from the center, but I'll bet there's still plenty you can learn from Daniel Yuhas' Knitting from the Center Out.
This informative and fun book takes a fresh look at what Yuhas calls revolutionary knitting (meaning knitting in the round, or more accurately an ever-increasing spiral) and offers intriguing projects for hats, socks, sweaters, toys, shawls, blankets and more. It's a great pick for the adventurous knitter who wants to see how far she can take her knitting in 2013.

Or even he/his knitting . . .
Well, of course
just making up for all the “he” statements in the world.
Hope you had a good holiday, too. Thanks for reading!
