We're really getting down to the wire if you want to knit any of your holiday gifts this year, but don't fear: I've still got a bunch of ideas that you can complete this week if you're still looking for homemade gifts for some of the people on your list. I'm starting with the ones that will take you the longest.
This may also literally be the longest project: the Horizontal Scarf. Of course you can make it any length you like, but I love the generous length on this one (7 feet long before you add about 20 inches of fringe). That makes it look like it wasn't a quick project, even though it totally is.
This one is fun, too, because it's a stash buster and you're only working a single row in any given color at a time. You leave tails on both ends for fringe, so you don't even have to weave any ends when you're done. How's that for fast?
