Valentine's Day is one holiday that I don't get into all that much, but I do have some cute Valentine's Day knitting projects for your enjoyment and use for the day of love.

It's a really easy knit consisting of two matching pieces that have eyelets worked up the middle. Sew the pieces together with blanket stitch, add a little more contrasting yarn for the handle if you want and you've got a cute little holder for the holiday in just a few hours.
And of course it doesn't have to be pink if you're not into pink. Use any yarn you have in your stash to bring a bit of love to someone you hold dear.
