If you're looking to organize a yarn studio or craft room (or even just want to get your supplies in order) super-organized people who practice other crafts can be a huge inspiration.
So I thought it would be fun to take a look at some organizing ideas and other projects from other crafty Guides here at About.com to help inspire us and give us ideas to get out supplies in order.
- Crochet Guide Amy has enlisted the help of other crocheters to share ideas for organizing your yarn stash.
- Tammy from the Jewelery Making site has a great look at her studio, which provides a lot of ideas for setting up a creative space. She also has tips from her readers on organization.
- Kate's tips on storing rubber stamps are great advice for anyone who dabbles in that craft (and a good reminder to handle all your supplies with care)
- Our Guide to Family Crafts has a great collection of organizing tips for whatever sort of crafty space you have.
- Printable miniature drawer organizers are great for storing tiny supplies like sewing needles, buttons and stitch markers.
- Check out these gorgeous painting studios for ideas on how you might set up your own space (if you have the space!).

I store my circular knitting needles in individual zip lock sandwich bags, with size and length printed in the outside.
I am also starting to keep patterns (mostly hand written) each in an individual plastic sleeve (along with a picture of finished project) in a looseleaf notebook.
