Off My Needles: A Mostly Finished BSJ

So, I bound off my Baby Surprise Jacket on September 1, just a day beyond my self-imposed deadline to get it done during the month of August. I haven't yet sewn the wee seams, and I need to get some buttons (blocking wouldn't hurt, either), but I have to say it's pretty cute.

It was a really easy knit, particularly once I got the line-by-line instructions and didn't have to think about what I was doing anymore. I certainly could have cranked it out a lot faster had I not been doing other knitting through the month as well.

I kind of want to leave it unfinished for a little while so I can show it to some people and see if they can figure out how to make a jacket out of it. It's not going to be cool enough for knits for a little while, anyway.

So, what's on (or off) your needles?
