Wordless Wednesday: Knitting in Public

My local knit shop celebrated World Wide Knitting in Public Day last weekend with a small gathering of knitters on the town square during the farmers' market. This is my favorite of the pictures I took because it's such a hometown farmers' market moment.

The local animal shelter always brings dogs to the farmers' market to get them some exercise and in the hope someone will adopt them. One of the dogs and her handler came over for a visit and some love. The dog seemed quite uninterested in the knitting.
