Wordless Wednesday: Swatches, Swatches

Wednesday February 25, 2009
swatches
This week I've been attempting to do a little spring (well, almost spring) cleaning in my office, which led me to create this overflowing box of swatches. Every swatch for a stitch of the week that I've done in the more than two years I've been on this site is here, as well as some yarn review swatches and some other little projects.

I think I might have enough to make some sort of little throw out of them. If you've done something more creative with your swatches than putting them in a box, I'd love to hear about it!

I take my swatches and make afghans out of them. We have a vacation home in Northern NJ, as well as many of our friends, and they love my afghans. They also love the fact that no two are alike.

i take my swatches and crichet around the edges if I need to make them the same size then put them together as afghans. Nice pastels also make carriage robes. sometimes nursing homes like smaller afghans as lap robes.

I sometimes use them to make colorful scarves (same theory as the blanket/afghan, but smaller).
