Magic Twins

Twin RibTwin Rib, (c) Sarah E. White.
The cool thing about Twin Rib, this week's stitch of the week, is that both sides of the fabric end up looking the same and yet the stitch pattern isn't really boring. In fact, I found it flying off my needles because it's so easy to remember and work through quickly.

While this rib pattern doesn't work like a traditional rib, so it's not ideal for cuffs and other times you want your knitting to hug the body, it is a great pattern stitch for scarves, sweaters or easy blankets for babies or bigger folks. It would be a nice alternative to my Triple Rib Baby Blanket as well.

Ahh, thank you for this! Its very pretty for being so simple. It’ll be easy to remember when I’m knitting on the bus.
