Wordless Wednesday: Ponytail Hat

Wednesday December 31, 2008
Ponytail Hat
Ponytail hat, knit by user Marlen.

This week we've got another super-cute finished object from an About.com reader (why don't you share your own? It's fun!). Marlen reports she used a variegated skein from her stash to knit this hat for an 8-year-old friend who often wears her hair in a high ponytail (thus the hole at the top of the hat for the hair to come out of).

She also used picot edging around the top and bottom and trimmed it with a bit of boa for some extra girly charm. How cute!

The ponytail hat is adorable! I would love to knit one if the designer is willing to share her pattern.
