Interweave Knits Holiday Gifts 2008.
I'm not shy about being a huge fan on Interweave Knits, and I'm always excited to take a look at their Holiday Gifts special issue, now available in yarn and craft stores or on their website. This year there are 30 projects, ranging from wristwarmers, hats and scarves to an adorable baby sweater with a scarf collar a great felted carpetbag made of hexagons and socks, sweaters, slippers and vests sized for everyone on your list. Some of my favorite patterns here are the giant River and Woods Afghan, worked in organic cotton; Eunny Jan's Delft Pillow, which looks just like a plate transformed into a pillow; the luscious and lacy Frost Flowers Stole; and that aforementioned carpetbag.
You'll also find cute ornaments designed by the magazine's staff (and some really cute decorations made out of swatches), gift ideas, yarn and book reviews and more.
