Cartoons for Knitters
Friday October 31, 2008
I have been reading and enjoying Franklin Habit's blog, The Panopticon, for several years, and I was excited to learn he was publishing a book of knitting cartoons and essays.
The book, called It Itches, is here now, and I don't think there's a better stocking stuffer for the knitter in your life (or a better book to put on your wish list if you can wait until then to read it).
This book is funny, of course, but it also has some important things to say about why we knit and who we are as a community of knitters. If you're a knitter, you should read it. And leave it around the house for non-knitters to read, just to see if they get any of the jokes.
