Lacy Arrows

I seem to be on a lace kick lately. Not that that's a bad thing. This week's stitch of the week, Arrowhead Lace, is a lot easier than it looks. The only tricky bit is passing two slipped stitches over on one of the rows, and that's only really fussy the first few times.

This lace pattern would be perfect for just about anything you'd want to knit with lace, from a shawl to a scarf to a sock. And this is one of those that grows and grows when you block it, so you get a lot of knit fabric for your time and yarn investment, which is always a good thing.

I’m curious how you would use this pattern in a sock especially if it grows and grows as you block it.

Well, you’d have to knit and block a swatch and see how much it grew before you could plan on how long to knit your leg (or how wide, but most of the stretch is in the vertical).

It would be tricky, but I still think it would make a cool sock panel.
