Halloween Fun's in the Bag
Sunday September 28, 2008
I really love this super simple pattern for a Halloween Bag that can be used for treats or even as a purse during the fall. It's a pretty easy knitting project that goes fast on big needles.
Then you get to add your own spin by stitching in whatever kind of Jack-'o-lantern face you want, and then the whole thing is felted so it will hold plenty of candy securely. Cut the bag to make handles like I did, or add your own purchased or knit handles.
Another thought would be to line the bag after felting and actually cut out the face as if you were carving a real pumpkin. Either way, this bag is a cute choice for gathering or distributing treats come Halloween night.
