Berroco's Hip-Hop yarn is one of my current favorites for making a big impact with a yarn.

This multicolored thick and thin yarn has a lot going on, yet it's really easy to work with and involves big needles, so projects get done quickly. It's also a nice felting yarn, so you can use it for bags and other accessories where a bit of solidness is required but you still want your project to look fun.

The recent pattern for the Moleskine Cozy used this yarn, and I really love the fuzziness and texture that this yarn brings to the party, whether you're knitting a notebook cover or a sweater.
