We've had an unseasonably cool August so far where I live. I'm not complaining at all, because it's given me inspiration to get a jump on some fall knits.

I spent some time last weekend watching the Olympics and knitting up this super simple but very cute Fuzzy Garter Stitch Scarf. It's a little more interesting than Garter Stitch normally is because you're working with two fun yarns at once, and the end result is a soft and fuzzy scarf you'll want to wear even when it isn't cold outside.

Garter Stitch also makes this scarf knit up super quick, making it an ideal choice for a last-minute gift or when you want a scarf to coordinate with an outfit for a party. But it's fun any other time, too.

I would make a suggestion that the pictures be size you can view bigger or smaller. It would make it easier to tell the texture and details if the pictures were more versatile!

The scarf is very pretty, by the way! (What I can see of it!) :)

Unfortunately I can’t change the size of the photos. If you click on the picture in the pattern, you should also be able to see a closeup picture.
