Knit Cutie

Knit Bear ToyKnit Bear. (c) Sarah E. White.
This little fat guy has been half knit and sitting in a box probably since December. Maybe it's because I started knitting him around Christmas, or because of his big, fat body, but he kind of reminds me of Santa Claus.

No matter, this cute little knit bear is a pretty easy project for anyone who's comfortable with double-pointed needles. The legs and arms are knit in the round, and the body is also knit in the round from the belly up in one piece. Pick up a couple of stitches for the ears, stuff and sew a few seams and you're done!

This may also have to do with the belly, but he's also completely squeezable and a lot of fun for little ones to carry around and play with.
