Squiggly Necklace

Knit NecklaceWire Knit Necklace. (c) Sarah E. White.
This knit wire necklace is a perfect first project for someone who wants to try knitting with wire, and it's a lot of fun for those with some wire knitting experience as well.

It's a great last-minute gift project, because it's just two stitches wide and as long as you need it to be. Use random beads from your bead stash (if you're like me, you've got a bead stash along with a yarn stash, a paper stash, a fabric stash...) as often as you like to give it a bit of extra sparkle.

When you stretch out the stitches they look less like knit stitches and more like loopy squiggles, giving your necklace a really interesting look that few will believe was knit.
