Little Bamboo

This weekend marks the unofficial start of summer in the United States, so why not celebrate by knitting a little bamboo tank top for a little person in your life?

This project knits up super quick. It's worked in the round from the bottom up, then you just divide the front and back stitches and work back and forth on those to shape the armholes and neckline.

This is a great project for someone who's never knit a garment before, because there's very little shaping. And it's a perfect summer shirt for your favorite little one. (Though the title says "girl's" and it's knit in a girl color, there's no reason a little boy couldn't wear this one, too.)
