(Semi) Wordless Wednesday

Misti Alpaca. (c) Sarah E. White.
Many of the Guides here at About have a regular feature they call "Wordless Wednesday," where they feature a photograph without any text. If you've been a visitor here for very long at all, you know I'm not a person of few words, so mine will be a semi-wordless entry instead.
There's actually a very good reason for needing some words. Each Wednesday I'm going to feature a yarn out of my stash (or yours!) or a finished object, each of which is bound to need a little explaining.
This week's Wednesday pick is Misti Alpaca from my stash. I bought this in March in Austin and have been itching to use it ever since. If you've got an idea of what I should do with it (that's about 1,700 yards of lace-weight baby alpaca there), let me know in the comments.
And if you have a beauty (or more than one) in your stash that you'd like to share, take a digital photo, fill out this form and e-mail me the picture as spelled out on that page. If you've got a finished object you'd like to share, the same process applies.
All photos will be credited and will include other information as the submitter provides it. This should be a fun way for all of us to get a look into each other's stashes and projects and I hope lots of you participate (otherwise y'all will get endless pictures of my stash instead).

Love Misti Alpaca, I’ve knitted with the chunky and made a scarf for my brother in law. It’s soft, warm and lighter in weight than wool. I’d suggest knitting a pair of socks or maybe two pairs in a rib stitch or lace pattern. The colorway looks gorgeous.
