Green Knitting Magazines

As you probably know, it's almost Earth Day, and I'm going to spend the next week or so focusing on eco-friendly yarns, alternative materials to knit with, interviews with yarn producers who are helping us practice our craft in a sustainable way, and more.

It seemed appropriate to start out by noting that two knitting magazines on newsstands now are also focusing on greener knits: Vogue Knitting and its sister publication Knit 1.

Both magazines have some free patterns online so you don't have to kill a tree to take a look. And if you do decide you want to buy the issues, don't forget to recycle when you're done!
