Quaker Rib is a really easy knitting stitch pattern that can evolve into tons of different variations. It is defined by alternating stripes of stockinette stitch and reverse stockinette stitch.

This handsome pattern would be perfect for a sweater, vest, or any other knitting project that you'd like to make a little more interesting than basic stockinette stitch. It is ideal for shaped pieces because the pattern can be worked on any number of stitches.
