Checks and Balances

Checkerboard Hot Pad Knitting Pattern Every home needs more hot pads, and this one is fun and quick to knit in a two-color checkerboard pattern.

Because the fabric is both stranded and folded in half, you get many layers of protection for your table or hand. This project is also a great way to learn mattress stitch if you don't already know it: you'll be an old pro by the time this project is done!

Hi there Sylvia ,, I love your hotpad ,I’m doing my 3rd one now ,but I fuged a bit instead of the small blocks,I went with 1.5inch ones ,I get too confused having to change so quickly
Also, instead of goind the narrower length, I opted for the longer length to cast on ,it goes so much faster for me.
Thank you so much for your pattern ,Have u ever been aware of a knitting pattern for Oven mitts????
GOD BLESS YOU DEAR
Trixie
