Eliminating "The Curse"

Thursday April 19, 2007
Never Knit Your Man a Sweater Review I'm been married for almost five years, and I've never knit anything for my husband. That's mostly because he's very warm-natured. I have never seen him wear a scarf, and I could probably count on both my hands the number of times he's worn a sweater in the 13 years I've known him. He doesn't often wear gloves, but I'm sure he'd love some wooly socks.

I never had to worry about the boyfriend sweater curse, but I know it's a big problem. Judith Durant knows it's a problem, too, and her new book strives to help smitten knitters everywhere. It's called Never Knit Your Man a Sweater* (*Unless You've Got the Ring) and it provides 22 lovely patterns for men at any stage of commitment.

Ranging from scarves to vests to covers for vital technology and, yes, sweaters, there's really something here for every guy on your list, even those who aren't your boyfriend or husband. I might even find something here to knit for my guy.
